Bio

Originally from Austin, TX, Lela Shelton was surrounded by music from the day she was born. Her parents worked for Willie Nelson and Tim O’Connor at the legendary Austin Opry House, working with acts such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bonnie Raitt, Delbert McClinton, the list goes on. The family moved to the Texas Coast where Lela took guitar lessons. She was in multiple bands as a teenager, playing every stage in town, eventually attending and graduating from music school.
Lela’s first album is a long drive through the desert with a mix of surf guitar, rockabilly, and a splash of honky-tonk.
